We are utterly PZYKD to be able to share with you this stunning, never-before-seen video for CHEVAL SOMBRE’s ‘Walking In The Desert’, created by Sharon Lock.

‘Walking In The Desert’ featured on Cheval Sombre’s second album ‘Mad Love’, released in 2012 via Sonic Cathedral. The track’s deliciously fluid meanderings mesh perfectly with the video’s gently revolving celestial kaleidoscope, enhancing its shoegaze-meets-stargaze feel. Sharon Lock also designed the sleeve artwork for ‘Mad Love’, and this is the first time this complementary video has been released.

To coincide with his performance at this year’s Liverpool International festival Of Psychedelia, Cheval Sombre has just announced plans to release a follow-up EP on Sonic Cathedral titled ‘Madder Love’, which will feature remixes and reworkings of tracks from ‘Mad Love’. The Horrors’ Tom Furse, The Time And Space Machine and Justin Robertson (who will also be appearing at 2014’s Psych Fest as one quarter of The Chimes Of Big Ben) have all contributed to the EP, which will be available on super limited edition 12″ at this year’s festival (as well as online the following week).
