Hailing from Northern Italy, Julie’s Haircut have been an outfit since the early 90s, breaking out with their debut album, ‘Fever In The Funk House’ (which is still hailed as one of the best Italian indie rock debut albums of all time.) Mixing garage rock with fuzzy pop melodies and trippier psychedelic moments, the group made quite the impact. Since then they have matured into a more leftfield offering of experimentalism, having gained an interest in improvisation and sound research, without losing the melody and groove of their early works.
Stalwarts of the psychedelic world, they have collaborated with everyone from Sonic Boom to Damo Suzuki, forever expanding and pushing forward through the realms of sonic exploration.
